OctoAIverse ("OctoAIverse", "we", "us") runs octoaiverse.com. This policy explains what this website collects, how we use it and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@octoaiverse.com.

Our products have their own sites and their own policies. If you use OctoReception or OctoMail, read the OctoReception privacy policy or the OctoMail privacy policy.

What we collect

Contact form. When you send the contact form we receive your name, email address, company (if you give one) and your message.

Demo calls. When you start a live demo call in your browser, your voice is streamed to our voice provider so the agent can hear and answer you. The call produces audio and a transcript. Your browser asks for microphone permission first; nothing is recorded if you decline.

Technical data. Like most websites, our servers and hosting providers log standard request data such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request. We also use your IP address to limit how many demo calls can be started from one network each hour.

How we use it

• To reply to your message and discuss the work you asked about.
• To run the demo call and show you its transcript.
• To prevent abuse of the demo and keep the site secure and working.

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it

We use service providers to run this site: our hosting provider, our email provider for contact form messages, and Vapi for demo calls. They process information only on our behalf and only to provide their service to us.

Videos. Some news posts include YouTube videos. The video's preview image loads from YouTube's image servers. The player itself loads from youtube-nocookie.com only when you press play, and YouTube's privacy policy then applies to it.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to reply and to follow up on the work you asked about, and delete them on request. Demo call recordings and transcripts are kept only as long as we need them to monitor quality and prevent abuse. Request logs are kept only as long as our hosting provider retains them for security and reliability.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing support@octoaiverse.com. You do not have to use the demo or the contact form to use this site.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
